SNAXE Data Policy

1. Introduction

This Data Policy explains how the SNAXE team ("we", "us", "our") handles data in the SNAXE application ("the App"). SNAXE is in active development and is provided as a demo. We have built the App with a privacy-first approach: we collect as little data as possible, we do not gather any health or medical data, and we do not share data with third parties.

By using the App you acknowledge this Data Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Our Core Privacy Principles

SNAXE is designed around the following principles, which we treat as commitments:

• We do not gather any medical or health data.
• We do not track, assess or infer anything about your mental health.
• We do not profile users or build user-level analytics.
• We collect only the minimum data required to improve and tune the App.
• We do not share your data with anyone outside the SNAXE team.
• We do not use user-specific data internally, even for internal analysis.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We explicitly do not collect, process or store:

• medical information, diagnoses, symptoms, medications, or any clinical data;
• mental health information, mood scores, therapy notes, or emotional state tracking;
• biometric or sensor data used for health or wellness assessment;
• contact lists, messages, photos, microphone recordings, or camera footage;
• precise location data (e.g. GPS coordinates);
• advertising identifiers used for behavioural advertising;
• payment or financial information (the demo is provided free of charge).

SNAXE is not a health app. Nothing inside the App should be interpreted as health tracking or monitoring, and we do not operate any such tracking behind the scenes.

4. What We Do Collect

We collect a small amount of technical, in-app progress data strictly for the purpose of developing and tuning the App and the games inside it. Specifically, we may collect:

• in-app progress events (e.g. which games were started, completed or skipped, within the demo);
• game-tuning signals such as difficulty levels used, time taken per game step, and whether a game was finished;
• aggregate usage counters that help us balance and improve game mechanics;
• basic, non-identifying technical information (e.g. App version, generic device type, operating system category) needed to reproduce and fix bugs;
• crash and error reports generated when the App does not work correctly.

This data is used only to understand how the App is working as a product and to tune the games. It is not used to build a profile of you.

5. No User-Level Use of Data

We do not use user-specific data, even internally. In practice this means:

• we do not read, review or analyse data tied to any individual user;
• collected events are used in an aggregated and/or anonymised form;
• we do not create dashboards, reports or evaluations about individual users;
• we do not draw any conclusions about a specific person's behaviour, wellbeing or mental state from the App.

6. How We Use the Data

Any data we collect is used strictly for the following purposes:

• to improve and develop the App during its demo phase;
• to calibrate and balance the games (e.g. difficulty, pacing, content);
• to detect, diagnose and fix bugs and crashes;
• to understand overall, anonymous usage patterns of the demo.

We do not use the data for advertising, marketing profiling, scoring, ranking or any assessment of users.

7. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, trade, license or otherwise disclose your data to any third party. There are no marketing partners, data brokers, ad networks or analytics resellers involved.

We may only disclose data if we are legally compelled to do so by a valid legal order, and only to the minimum extent required by applicable law. If this happens, we will act in line with your legal rights and, where permitted, inform users.

8. Data Storage and Security

Any data we do collect is stored using reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect it against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. Because the App is a demo, storage arrangements may change as the product evolves. We aim to:

• store only what is necessary;
• keep technical data for no longer than is needed for development and debugging;
• restrict internal access to people working directly on the App.

No system is perfectly secure. By using a demo product, you acknowledge that security practices are still maturing and that you should not enter any sensitive information into the App.

9. Retention

Technical and game-tuning data is retained only for as long as necessary to support active development and debugging of the demo. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or further anonymised. Because events are already collected in an aggregated and non-identifying form, we generally cannot link stored events back to a specific user.

10. Children

SNAXE is not directed at children under the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the App in a way that caused data to be collected, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights in relation to personal data, such as the right to be informed, to access, to rectify, to erase, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Because SNAXE is designed to avoid collecting personal, user-identifying data, we may not be able to link requests to specific individuals. Where we can, we will act on valid requests in line with applicable law.

You can stop the data flow at any time by uninstalling the App from your device.

12. International Use

SNAXE is a demo and may be accessed from different countries. By using the App you understand that any limited technical data described above may be processed in the country where our development infrastructure is located, under the protections outlined in this policy.

13. Changes to this Data Policy

As the App evolves, we may update this Data Policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" at the top. We encourage you to review this policy from time to time. If a change would materially reduce your privacy, we will take reasonable steps to notify users within the App.
